More on DYNOshield PPF

When it comes to protecting your new car, restoration project, or vinyl wrap, paint protection films are the modern-day waxes, and clocking in a lot more benefits. One of those benefits is that you should not wax our PPFs. DYNOshield has a ceramic-infused topcoat that provides hydrophobic water beading properties to make keeping your car clean a quicker and easier process.

With a hydrophobic film, contaminates are lifted from the surface and carried away in the water beads that effortlessly flow off each wrapped panel. All of our DYNOseires PPFs are hydrophobic films that make washing easier, and as a result, requires less friction and abrasion to the surface keeping your cars finish as pristine as possible. When you do handwash our PPFs, the process takes less chemicals and elbow grease thanks to the hydrophobic topcoat.

Our DYNOshield PPF is made from Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) plastic which provides tremendous elasticity and durability against punctures and tearing, especially compared to PVC plastics found in cheaper PPFs and vinyl color change wrap films. STEK’s manufacturing of TPU-based films combines innovation and modern technology to provide a tangible self-sacrificial layer of protection that stops rock chips, scratches, stains, and other damages from ever reaching your paint.

DYNOshield has a 10 year warranty and has been the chosen protective automotive film for thousands of enthusiast alike.

What is paint protection film?

Paint protection film (PPF) is a thin, transparent film that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle to protect the paint from scratches, chips, and other damage. It is made from a variety of materials, including polyurethane, vinyl, and ceramic.

What are the benefits of paint protection film?

PPF offers a number of benefits, including:
Protects the vehicle's paint from scratches, chips, and other damage
Helps to preserve the vehicle's resale value
Makes the vehicle easier to clean
Can be applied to any area of the vehicle, including the hood, fenders, bumpers, and headlights

How long does paint protection film last?

The durability of PPF will depend on the quality of the film, the climate you live in, and how well you care for it. High-quality PPF can last for up to 10 years.

Can I install paint protection film myself?

It is possible to install PPF yourself, but it is a difficult and time-consuming process. If you are not comfortable installing PPF yourself, it is best to have it done by a professional.

How should I care for my paint protection film?

To care for your PPF, you should wash your vehicle regularly with a mild soap and water solution. You should also avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as this can damage the film.

What is the warranty on my paint protection film?

Most PPF shops offer a warranty on their work. Be sure to ask about the warranty before you have your vehicle's paint protected.

Is paint protection film worth it?

Whether or not PPF is worth it depends on your individual needs and budget. If you are looking for the best possible protection for your vehicle's paint, then PPF is a good option. However, it is important to note that PPF is expensive and requires regular maintenance.

How much does paint protection film cost?

The cost of PPF will vary depending on the size of the vehicle, the areas you want to protect, and the type of film you choose.
